  2009

 - SIGNUM doubles its cup capacity to allow continued growth of recycled packaging.

2007

- Supply commences of recycled PET cups to McDonalds

- SIGNUM receive PCA Award for Sustainability

2006

- McDonalds Innovation Award presented to SIGNUM

 

2005

- PCR (Post Consumer Recyclate) is  manufactured into RE-PET for thermoforming

- Quality Certification gained  to ISO9001:2000

- SIGNUM  install a new extruder to increase PCR capabilities

 

2004

- SIGNUM purchase the PET Recycling plant in Wodonga from ACI

- PCA award received for  in Best Family of Packaging and Design and Innovation

- PCA award also received for in Best National Packaging Covenant Plan category

 

2003

- A new, custom built, state of the art thermoforming facility in Huntingwood is opened

- A new  ERP system is installed

 

2001

- HACCP Certification is achieved

- A  new coextrusion line is purchased and significant building extensions completed at Broadmeadows facility

 

2000

- An Environmental Award is received from Coca Cola

- SIGNUM are  recognized as the supplier of packaging to the ‘green’ Sydney Olympic Games

 

1998

- Amcor’s Servpack thermoforming division is acquired

- SIGNUM achieve Quality Certification to ISO9002:1994

 

1996

- Walls International in Auckland, NZ is acquired

 

1986

- James Hardie Transheet is purchased from James Hardie Industries

 

1936

- SIGNUM is founded in Melbourne, Australia
